Biography
Mai Al Safty is a Legal Advisor at KH Legal (Khairallah Advocates & Legal Consultants), where she handles most of the firm’s rental disputes before Dubai’s Rental Dispute Settlement Centre (RDC), together with civil claims and community management collections.
A Bachelor of Laws graduate of Mansoura University (2008), Mai began her career as an attorney in Egypt, drafting civil, commercial and rental contracts and appearing in court sessions. She went on to advise on real estate transactions and property disputes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before moving to the UAE, where she has worked in private practice and in-house on contracts, commercial disputes, cheque execution and enforcement proceedings before the Dubai and Sharjah courts. She brings more than eight years of legal experience across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
At KH Legal, Mai handles landlord and tenant disputes, rental claims, eviction cases, expert appointment applications and property-related matters, and supports the firm’s commercial, arbitration and enforcement work. She represents and supports clients in matters before the Dubai Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts, the Federal Courts and the RDC, attends expert meetings, and prepares the legal comments and objections that answer expert reports. She works in Arabic and English.
The Firm’s Rental Disputes Desk
Most rental disputes in Dubai are decided at the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre, and most of KH Legal’s RDC files run through Mai Al Safty. She acts for landlords and tenants alike: unpaid rent, eviction notices, security deposit refunds, maintenance and repair disputes, and expert appointment applications where the condition of a unit or the value of a claim has to be proven.
Alongside her tenancy work, Mai manages community management collections: recovering unpaid service charges and related sums for owners’ associations and community management companies, from the first demand through the competent forum to execution. These files reward the same discipline as every rental case: a complete payment history, properly served notices and a claim that matches the governing documents.
Her approach is practical and record-led: preparing the file before anything is filed, answering expert reports point by point, and keeping clients informed at every stage of the case and its execution.
